Man... I keep putting this offI'm really sorry you guys haven't heard from us in a while, but I've been putting this off for far too long.First, an apology: sorry about being so long to post this. Okay. Secondly: Yeah, we're on hiatus. It's somewhat obvious for now, but with the fact that Ian has an actual job and stuff, he can't man the visofuturactor device with the care that one needs to properly tune it. He wants to continue it, he just can't find the time. Anyway.. I'm sure that when we get back to it'll be announced on all of our sites. At least you guys can play CMC in the meantime, it has Starsomething cards. Blasting off at ludicrous speed, webrunner. |

A year is to long. It's been more then that. You're not on a hiatus; you've got a discontinued comic that you might consider reviving some time in the future.
now now, don't be like that.
sure it's gone some time, but he has intent of reviving it. and hopefully he will do that to. so don't be a meany.
and lets pray to god that Ian get's out of the wagon.
All we can do is hope that Ian gets fired.... so come on everyone, if everyone wishes real hard that Ian gets fired and fails at being a regular human.... we can get our comics back! :D
Or... we could just hope that he, like most other people at work, become lazy enough to do other things at work, but not too lazy to lose their jobs. That way he might do comic stuff at work, and keep it too!
Because, you know, if he loses a job, he'll become depressed, probably won't do a comic, and start spending his time searching for more accursed jobs.
Omg, some news!
To bad it sucks.
Anyways, news are news.
This is good. It shows intent and/or progress. Atleast something got up. Be glad that there are news. The site could've just as quick gotten torn away from the interwebb, but now there is a hope, small but still, a hope.
Let Ian live his life as he please and hopefully he will be pleased by drawing on Starsomething again in the future.
And to Ian I only have to say that you have a group of fans for a comic that hasn't even started yet. Please be kind and give an update. Even one a month would make, alteast, me glad. Please think about it.

Come on Ian, how bout a Christmas special? And then like... update every holiday. That couldn't be too hard ey? Please, honestly, we'll take anything. Bi-Monthly. If you get tired, I'll draw half the comic for you. Please, anything, please.... (and could you at post like your script or plans for the end of rpg world too? I want to hear the end)
I'm just glad there are going to be random comics. Like someone said before, we'll take anything.
Even a doodle of Dark Lord Pony in a bonnet. (Well, I would. It would be funny...)

Very well, marry x-mas, what ever planet your on...

OMG, he went straight to plaid!
Please forgive the next comment, for I have yet to see any one-line comments in its style.
HOLY F***ing F*** C*** an update!!11forty-two!1one!
To Sile:
Merry Christmas to you too! And I don't live on another planet...I just have a whacked sense of humor!
Love,
Head Ninja
PS> And a Happy New Year! From me and all the ninjas! ^^
(I'm joking of course. I think...)
I am shocked and slightly amused, but I am still disappointed.
I'm glad to hear that Starsomething wasn't just abandoned!

Thank you, head ninja, happy new years to you too.
I wish you a productive one, Ian.
But do it in your own pace.

It Lives? there is hope afterall! joy.:)
why do you even keep coming here... it's obvious that there won't be a revival for so,e time yet, 'cause... you know... they've bewen doing this for a while... particularly Ian. (you know what i mean, saying they will do their comics and not even posting a blog)
but i am aware that ian is busy...
so shoot me.
Hello, I hope you will not go the way of the fallen comic. That is, you start updating irregularly, have something major happen, then go on temporary hiatus, quit. GO NOT THE WAY OF SQUIDI, OR RPG WORLD!
Even if the comic is dead.
Even if Ian would be eaten by a huge monster.
Even if people complain.
One thing is sure.
Everyone which checks into here every once in a while does so by their free will.
They are not forced in anyway.
So why do you complain and whine about things that is not yours to complain about. I won't force you to check into here if you don't want to. But why not come here once in a while and see if something happens?
Who knows, something good might happen.
You could always hope anyways...

Did anyone notice that the URL for starsomething now includes comicgenesis instead of keenspace? Is the hosting changing or something?
I think keenspace turned into comicgenesis or some crap. I don't really know.
Well Webs, good for you on getting some news up; I honestly didn't see this until now. Best of luck to you both.
-Saber in Blue, first Anonymous to post in the previous entry.
Keenspace had its name changed to avoid confusion with Keenspot (they're owned by the same company, or one's owned by the other, or something). On another note...here's to another year until the next newspost! *Clink*
No, no, don't hope that Ian gets fired or anything. Hope that he inherets a massive amount of money from a wealthy, previously unknown uncle, enough money that he never ever needs to work again, with the will's sole proviso being that to keep it he must continue to produce Starsomething.
we need to force bill gates to sign a paper that he will will everything to Ian, and then kill him claiming it were an accident... no wait... let's resign the paper to me :D
then nothing more then silence
There's no silence.
I'm still here.
Ohhh! He's even got a JOB now? And here I thought he was just in college! Well, I'mg lad he's off and making money, but it's a terrible, terrible shame that the web-comicing isn't being done so much. But I still love ya guys.
