Man... I keep putting this off

I'm really sorry you guys haven't heard from us in a while, but I've been putting this off for far too long.

First, an apology: sorry about being so long to post this. Okay.

Secondly: Yeah, we're on hiatus. It's somewhat obvious for now, but with the fact that Ian has an actual job and stuff, he can't man the visofuturactor device with the care that one needs to properly tune it.

He wants to continue it, he just can't find the time.

Anyway.. I'm sure that when we get back to it'll be announced on all of our sites.

At least you guys can play CMC in the meantime, it has Starsomething cards.

Blasting off at ludicrous speed, webrunner.

You're probably wondering where Starsomething is

Sit tight, we're working on it. The last few weeks have been wierd for both me and Ian (for different reasons) and we haven't had time to check the futurometer.

Power to the People

Alright, I'm going to post the same message in several places because I want everyone who needs to be able to read this to be able to read this.
Some of you may have heard about a major snowstorm in Nova Scotia this past weekend. It was expected to be a regular snowstorm turning to rain the next day, nothing out of the ordinary. Instead, it was snow and rain at the same time for two and a half days, and as a result many of the NS power lines (including major transmission towers) were taken down by the storm. This left tens of thousands of people - entire towns and countys - without power. Most of the western part of Nova Scotia was powerless during the onset of an early cold as the days get shorter and shorter.
I decided to go with my parents to stay in New Brunswick for a week. Although they don't a) have internet access (I'm posting this from a Library computer) and b) have a one bedroom apartment it was a much better prospect then sitting in a freezing room without lights, heat, or water (since we're on a well) or food alone. The risk I took was that nobody knew when the power was to come back (except it'd be 'near the end of the week' for most areas) and that I had to stay with my parents until late Friday. Apparently it was a good risk because although power came back in Wolfville either yesterday or the day before (not 100% sure) it still isn't back in New Minas and whether it's back in Coldbrook is a mystery (although doubtful). Power is expected to be back on by Friday, so there will be power there before I get home.
On top of all of this, apparently my comics haven't been updating. I'm not sure why this is, and I was planning on looking into it on this past sunday but the power situation sort of put a stop to that. It seems to be fixed now (I got Andre to send an email to Gav)
So anyway, that's what the deal is, why I'm not here, etc. etc. etc. Whew.
P.S. Katamari Damacy Rules.P.P.S. I'm still short some ADV! guest strips.P.P.P.S. I'm also very lucky I didn't break my arm this week, but that's a story for another time.

Ranks

You may notice Marcus has two pips on his collar.

Or you may not. This is your choice.

Take nothing but large amounts of x-rays and leave nothing but your atomically-sized compacted corpse

In the future everything that isn't sentient is protected by some sort of intergalactic protection agency. They tend to go largely ignored except those that like to sink spaceships to the bottom of the spaceocean.

Really it's true.

Or maybe it -will be- true. Think about it.

We apologize for the inconvinence

There's some stuff that you just don't see until the site goes live.. like the links on the archive pages not working. That should be fixed, now.

Unfortunately I did seem to neglect to put a forum link on the site, I'll work on fixing that soon, but until then you can access it at http://forums.keenspace.com/viewforum.php?f=597

We appear to be back.

Hello and welcome to [secretproject], which I have been hyping on my various blogs. Yes, our secret project was the revival of this long-dead comic.

Starsomething is a bit of a cult comic, it was never really as liked as RPG World or Adventurers!. SF nerds is probably a smaller market than RPG nerds. But it's a lot of fun to make and I hope you guys like it.

The comic will be better now because our abilities have increased tenfold. So be sure to visit every Monday.

[EDIT] Oh yeah, dig the fantastic new webdesign, done by Mark. Send praise his way.
